Not that I take any snopes article on blind faith, but they have been pretty good at flushing out the BS in my opinion...

They say that the flashlight apps collect and distribute information no more, and no less, than any other app you have out there. It's all about data mining and selling it to marketers.

i am good, either way. LOL i don't have a 'smartphone'. mine is dumb, just push a button too answer and too hang up, no camera nothing. :) never could really understand why folks need all that crap on a cell phone anyway.?
