Opened up at midnight last night. Came home at 0800. Not bad for a bunch of old rednecks. And younguns in the pic.
For comparison purposes, thats a 24 inch gag grouper that got in the way. sort of.
Going back out late today, will update tomorrow morning. Where should we have the cookout?

Extra beer? Isn't that like extra ammo, you can never have enough.

Just got home from the second night. Not as productive, they are doing the "walk". Got 7, but they were very good ones. Going one more time at 1400 hours to 2330 hours. Wish us luck, with them walking, we will need it.

Our personal mini season is over - 20 mph winds out of the east. Zero visibility. 3-4 foot seas, not conducive. Enjoyed it while it lasted. Regular season opens Aug 6, after the commercial guys get theirs. time to go to the woods.

Won't help much at night. The oldest in that pic is 32 yo. Glad you didn't see me in it. I traded my skin in for leather about 20 years ago.

You know, you come in here, tease us with all your nautical adventures and then have the audacity to mention that without so much as offering us drawn butter.
Consider this my official harumph
