I am sitting alone in a dark room, gathering my thoughts and trying to get mind right. For in a week, I follow all of my brethren whom have passes through this portal before me, pushing through all of the diversity this world can present upon a person. I train mentally for the tasks ahead of me, physically for the tasks at hand, and spirituality for unseen tasks in my future. For in seven short days, I leave my home, kiss my wife goodbye for possibly the last time, and give my dear Brother a scratch behind his ear, and telling him to take care of Mom for me, and tell him he is man of the house now. I leave this beloved land, and go forth to my possible doom. I can only hope for an outcome that will shine down upon me, giving me the strength, knowledge, the perseverance to see my tasks through to the end. For you see my friend, on Tuesday, I go
forth to uncertainty.. For I go to Bonnaroo.

I've never been to any concert ever in my life. The closest I ever got was when I drove 3 hours to Birmingham to see Aerosmith, only to find out while trying to park, the concert was canceled. The Jumbotron had fallen from the ceiling. So for some reason, if only to check it off my bucket list, I volunteered to work the concert. I will be alone, surrounded by 100,000 people, with only what you can carry on your back. Ok, I also am bring a ton of stuff for camping for 6 days and nights.

My wife is a U2 freak, so I bought us tix when they were here last. was about to snap even before they hit the stage, reading bono's propaganda crap . f*cking tool!!!

My first wife was a huge u-2 fan also. That's when we began to develop into two very seperate people. Her going very far to the left, me towards the right.

For me, this is the worst line up of talent they have ever had. Last year, Paul McCartney was there. I dont know but a few this year.
