Cool deal EB. I was just reading some stuff about him last week. Amazing man for sure.

BTW, where is that located? I'd like to check it out if we ever make to that area.

Atop Brush Mtn. in Craig County, Virginia... Down Rt. 311, turn onto Rt. 624/Newport Road, go a few miles until you see the official sign.

Very cool post!
I grew up in that area. We used to go 4wheeling up to the monument, back in the 80's. We'd usually circle the jeeps, up by the power lines, build a fire and sleep under the stars.
There were only fire roads up there back then. I hear that it's a lot easier to get to now.
