Today I have completed my 62nd successful trip around the Sun. Just got off work and the festivities are about to begin! With any luck I'll be home and in bed by 9:00.;)

Walking up to a porch one a small yippy dog came out barking. I did not bother with it and told it to "GIT", the dog took off scared. As I was about to climb the step I notice an old dog just lying there. The dog looked at me and growled. It was about this time I backed off. For I knew you don't screw with an old dog because they will just save all their energy for the bite rather than the show.........

I take considerable grammatic solace that way. By peeling the adjectives out of the saying "Living well is the best revenge" I can happily report over half a century of getting back at detractors simply by breathing. Some of them, to be sure, are doing their breathing at the expense of the several states, on the other side of iron bars and well-locked doors, so the 'well', while relative, is still there to be enjoyed.

I did the math about SSI when I was 14, and even then knew I wasn't gonna get any back, ever. I'll suffice to be around when the regime finally admits they blew it, and take what solace I can get. ( Mind, since I know they are making their shortcomings up out of the general fund right this moment, I am partly sated as we speak/type/YGTI)
