Just wanted to pop in with a friendly request It only takes me a few minutes to move threads to their appropriate forums if I keep up on it, but I seem to be moving a bunch out of GD lately. Think ya'll could keep me in mind as you're posting, please? lol

Am I missing something?

he's hinting that people should take a second and think if the new thread they are creating should be in the general board, or would be better suited in another more specific board.
For instance, a range day report is better suited in the firearms thread, than in a general board.

Oh yeah, that rule thing. I've been guilty of that once or twice. Roger Out!

Lol. Even I'm not sure it's a "rule", exactly, but one immediate benefit I can see to spreading the love across the board, is it does make us look more active.
Besides,it offense my OCD tendencies ;)

To me it just makes it easier to find a certain thread if it's under a given topic.

That is the idea, about thinking about where a thread should go and putting it there, or doing a search and adding to an existing thread, before creating a new one. That is why we, as staff, move/join/merge threads on occasion.
Not a biggie, but every little bit helps us keep this site clean.
