hey guys

here is an update on me. : )

as some of you know, i was medically retired. keyword here is WAS... my doctor and i sat down and discussed it, he cleared me to go back to the rat race. : ) i was diagnosed with a life threatening condition and was sat on the bench. was told that i had 16-18 mo. to live 5 1/2 yrs. ago. Doctors (Cardiologists) don't know shit! anyway, in the last six months my life has changed A LOT, for the good. i have moved to the woods, taken a job, bought a new truck (new to me) and re-connected with an old love.

2006 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab
3.7L Auto Trans w/tow package

Power everything! it's everything i have never really wanted in a truck. LOL

Glad things are going exceedingly well for you! You are the power of your own recovery. It is all in the desire you have that will provide the outcome of your learning experience.
Doctors are decent I guess but in this day and age they will not provide to much hope. It is the game of CYA for them in this sue happy world.
The truck is an awesome beast, always been one to like sporty looking cars. Until I drove a SUV.

James beat me to the same question. My wife had a model just like that one several years ago...until she finally admitted it was too much truck for her to handle. It would seem that the Sonic signs would just attack the truck when she pulled out...leaving the front bumper behind as evidence she was there.

DG... no it's the reason why i bought another truck. : ) planning on fixing it. or rebuilding the engine. either way, i will have it fixed. she has been a part of my life since she was new. can't just let her sit and be useless.

ST... it's nice to be a part of happy story! : )

Any day above ground it a good day. Glad you are still with the living and in the woods not less. As for the doctors well now you know why they call it a practice.... Both my parents were doctors and they got divorced because they could never agree on anything.
