It's with an extremely heavy heart and great sadness, but forum member Robsdak passed away last week unexpectedly.

Last I spoke with him was a continuation of the previous year - he was feeling great and doing great, and enjoying life.

Please keep Rob and his family in your thoughts.

Heavy heart indeed my friend ; Rob and I became close through our conversations and he was my eye down there for winter property. He was truly a man of many talents. The colony has lost a very good master of many trades.
He was a goodhearted man who asked nothing from me but honesty. Tonight I shall break out the Evan Williams and toast my dear friend.
May his trip to Valhalla be a joyous home coming.

WTH? This was unexpected! Im truly saddened! Thoughts go out for his family and loved ones.

Amen.

Feel like I have lost a brother. He was Uncle Rob to my now 8 month old daughter and spoke and bragged of her as if he was exactly that.

Last time we spoke, he'd went out and bought a go kart and first pocket knife for the 10 year old boy he was looking after. He was super happy and proud, normal for him when he felt pleased with life.

He was a friend to many and like family to a few.

An autopsy is being performed to find out the cause of death, so this process isn't over for his family. Please keep them in prayer.

I too will dearly miss him. Thank you for thinking of us and providing an update, as sad and difficult as it must be.

Iwas drawn here today and now I know why. May Robsdak reside peacefully in the Lord's arms and his family be comforted. God be with you Rob until we meet again!

I just happened to see this, and I am deeply saddened to hear this. He and I shared a few messages at the right time in my life to help me out, and I will forever thank him for that.

Well, its been a while now, and Im sure Im not alone and really wanting to know more details. When someone passes unexpectedly we are naturally grieved, but dont feel much closure without knowing what happened. Anyone have more information?

No, but I was just thinking of him on Saturday. I was shooting my 22, with the sling on it he made for me. I'll admit I did shed a few tears for the friend I never did meet.

WTH? I just saw this......don't know what to say. Great guy got to know him a bit being a Florida boy. Did a bit of bartering with him, too! Was looking forward to meeting him in the near future but I guess I'm going to have to wait now. Rest in Peace Brother....my best to the family.

Hell does anybody got any intell on this guy yet?

Wow, I too missed this. I was away at the time the post came out, so in that aspect I am not surprised I missed it. But either way, Im sitting here dumbfounded. He and I talked before I left in April, and we had a few good chuckles over menial stuff. I was wondering why he hadnt been on lately, and was thinking of sending him a message just to touch base.
