Nice! I keep waiting for the porcine epidemic I was hearing of to start here. It hasn't happened yet, and it's been almost at least 7 years. I am happy it hasn't, but man... would it be nice to drop a few of those bastards.

I built it this summer, and caught 10 hogs so far. It has more than paid for itself. Loving the trap.

That is awesome. Lots of good eating there going into fall.

Gave 3 away, kept the biggest and the smallest. My friend has been asking me to catch him some for a while. Finally had enough to give him some. He gave me 4 plucked ducks, and some canned peaches. He is also giving my some live Muscovy ducks. Told him he didn't owe me anything, but he insisted.

That's an incredible trap. I'll definitely be keeping it in mind in case it ever becomes useful up this way.

I like that it can be rolled through the woods. I put it on the trailer and get it close to where I want, then roll it the rest of the way. No way I could move a rectangle trap by myself.

I was told you folks treat them like varmints and just let them lay. I'm glad to see them go to use. We don't get many but the ones we do get are tasty.

I don't like to waste, they are not a big enough nuisance for me to do that. They are sooooo delicious.

Now thats alot of pork chops and bacon there! Im waiting like MTR to see some of those invasive species make it into the area. So far they are much farther down south and havent made it this far north, but Im waiting patiently!

They are good eating, but can flatout destroy crops in a short period of time. They are pest around here in the areas they are in.

IMO they are the best tasting critters out there. They do a lot of damage, but on my place I have not had that issue. Had them knock over some feeders years ago, but now I use T-posts on the legs and that has solved that.

I was referring to getting in corn fields, squash and melon patches.

Yeah, my buddy has 1000 acres and his fields are so rough you can barely drive through them.
