Agreed. I can actually see practical value in this... not just in shtf scenario.

Yeah same here. I could have used that Saturday to get a rope up in a tree I took down.

That, my friend... was exactly what I was thinking of!

Now I am thinking, 2 rope systems, so it can be constructed from the ground up, rather than from the top down...
