The page I am linking has images of an Aquaponics system I built. And NFT setup is being added as the final part. NFT=Nutrient Film Transfer. This is where water will flow in small amounts and pass through netti cups to allow nutrients to be used for plant growth.

Posting pics here is kinda irritating for me since they are never positioned appropriatly. so I tried to get around that by posting FB.

Hydroponics isn't really a SHTF process. The chemicals you will need are going to run out.
Hydroponics= Chemicals are the plant food
Aquaponics=Fish waste is the plant food.
