A new "anti-facist" organization is starting up in America. College educators, and eventually students are urged to join. Here is a link to their mission statement and syllabus. It is an interesting read, and the list of source material is most revealing. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6FX_x2dbvXqblpZQ3JuUTYxTnM/view

Now we can all confirm where the progressives are coming from.

Well now that is an interesting reading list. You were up late I see, guess you had the "balls to four" nice job, you must have been on the "snoopy team." Oh yeah, I can see me putting another kid through college right now. NOT going to happen, this is going to be an addition to the already mass clusterfuck on the horizon.

Now if you go through the list you can learn something from it, it's how it's presented is another story. You have to understand fascism, it's origins, how it was used, how the Nazis were influenced by America's civil war history and slavery......there's a few spaces in here. Again it will be how it's presented. Then there's the "organization" part of the course.

It was an interesting nugget to dig up. You can pretty much bet that the "CAN" syllabus will be developed into a college course, and on a lot of campuses will become a required course for most courses of study. There are still a few real colleges out there, that aren't bastions of liberal/progressive indoctrination, Hillsdale is one I know of, Liberty in Virginia is another. Will be doing a deeper dive into this group. The more you know the better you can plan your defense.

No needs for thanks . there are a lot of us here with kids about to go off to college. It is a heads up for the community. The reading materialif you look at the sources, or check out the authors bona-fides is mostly communists or extreme left. There is no need to even go further then that, as to where theyare going, or what tneir agenda is.

I suppose that I am not the only one that sees all too many parallels between the present situation, and the development of the Communist culture in the first third of last century.

Not a perfect fit, though... not yet, anyway. Imperial Russia was one of the most technologically backward regimes in that era. And in theory we still have something like removability with our government through a ballot box. IR had the Romanovs and dynastic rule. Etc.c etc....

I just had a horrid thought... the SHTF event that we all have been trying to prepare for... could it end up being provoked or actuated by these CAN ... whatevers? I really don't want to dignify their cause by putting a human face on it.

Bloody 'ell. So much for sleep for a few days, with THAT nightmare waiting.

The subtle encroachment and establishment of communist socialism in the U.S., European socialism is a bit different. I have no use for the progressive left or the Democratic Party. Anybody that is convinced they know better than I do , what is best for me, is treading on my rights to liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and is the enemy. To be blunt, we are seeing the first battles of a Civil War, it is just that the opposing sides haven't started arming themselves for full fledged combat, yet.
