Home made Brew (Mead)

[Vodin]

I started my first 2 batches of Mead. Simple start:

1st batch

Used 2.51lbs of honey
14 raisins
1 Package Lalvin EC-1118

2nd Batch

Used 2.62lbs of honey
14 raisins
1 Package Lalvin EC-1118
1 Clove
1 Cinnamon Stick

Log
Dec 1 Marked both with contents and start date
Dec 2 Both are bubbling about 1 time every 9 seconds
Dec 8 Topped off both air locks with a little bit of water

If you want details on how I set up the (2) 1 Gallon jugs just ask and I will fill you in.

I plan to start brewing my own beer, once we get moved and settled in. Going to work towards Belgian doubles and tripel.

OK, you got my curiosity up. I'm anxious to see how this comes out. Guess I'll have to build a still, a brew haus and a shitload of other things on the new place to? :confused: Fuck I'm going to busy, but if I get that done I can get drunk and busy all at the same time........"safety third!"
