Well, today I am eighteen with 40 years of experience. And as most of my family is 950 to 1700 miles away, I get to do my own celebrating and buy my own birthday gift. None of my kids or grandkids could afford anything I want anyway. So....... Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. I, and other members of various Chapters of the Old Farts Society will be leaving aboard The Pegasus out of Fisherman's Landing in San Diego on a 2.5 days trip to Mexican waters after the wily tunas and yellowtails. Hopefully this will be better than 2 weeks ago when we didn't get any tuna and just a few yellowtails.

Since we haven't really had a tuna season for a couple of years, I decided to reward myself for being such a sterling example of graciousness and civility, by going on another charter 2 weeks later. I thought I might show you the one good catch from last trip, but first I have to resize the pics.

Trip was arousing success!! My bag was 8 Yellowtails in the 8-10 lb class, 3 15-20 lb Yellowfin tuna, 1 lingcod about 18 lbs and 1 red rock cod in the 20 lb range. It took 2 rolls of vacuum seal bags to process the fish for freezing. When I get the pics uploaded to Photobucket I will let you know.

When we have a meet and greet in the middle of the US, I'll supply marlin steaks, a couple of yellowtails for the BBQ and tuna for sashimi. Someone else can bring wasabe! LOL. BTW did you see how calm the Pacific was in the two pics of the lingcod and red rock cod? It was'nt that way when we were catching those tuna. There were 98 yellowfins on the deck when I took those pictures and I darned near went over the rail trying to take the pictures.

If I read you right. Your B-day is 9-26-. If so you and my daughter were born same month and day.
Probably out spoken and hard headed just like her. ;)

Guilty as charged. I'll bet she is also insightful and very intelligent as well. It's a forgone conclusion that she is a beauty.

Guilty as charged. I'll bet she is also insightful and very intelligent as well. It's a forgone conclusion that she is a beauty.

Yea it's said that she's like her Daddy. But then I'm a lefty and born 10-02 -50. So that makes me a Libra meaning I'm well balanced and nice kinda guy. ;) even if I am 100% with P.T.S.D.

She's a radiation tech. who makes radioactive iodine for hospitals and is dad's radiation expert. She saw SHTF before the other kids and got her some guns and extra food. Yea she's insightful enough for her age ; 36 . Yet she has no problem doing as I say when it comes to getting ready .

She can also talk enough shit to make a sailor blush when she's pissed. her husband won't even mess with her ; cause if she doesn't do the 3 s' to him ; He knows I will. Hell she even likes Dad's jack Daniels and Evan Williams.

Yes sir ; She a beauty in Daddy's eyes.
