I know what you are thinking...how can that be?

Now as of yet I haven't actually used my idea....but I feel it should work very well.

Everytime we go shopping you get plastic bags to carry your stuff home.

Simple and very portable.

Use 2 bags (doubled up) for safety sake. AND MAKE SURE THEY DON'T HAVE ANY HOLES IN THEM.

Next put in some toilet paper. You could tear some off and pre fold it so it's ready to use.

Fold these bags up as small as possible and that's it.

When you have to go like in your vehicle....for privacy reasons.

Pull down your drawers and grab the bag handles and pull the bags up around your butt and hang on. When you're done wipe up and tie the bag off for disposal. Now you could pull out the inner bag and then add a clean one and do it again.

Can't get any smaller more portable than that.

I've already had my butt hanging over the guardrail...:o

I've done a variation of this for many years, except using a 5 gallon pail (or a 2-1/2 gallon)... simply put your bag(s) into the pail and fold the handles around the outside. when you sit down, you will hold the bag in place with your butt/legs. do your business.

when you're done you can just lift the bag(s) out, tie them and toss them.

I've done this on a lake with 1000 other people around during an ice-fishing tournement, and not one person noticed what I was doing!
(Not that they said anyways).

I'm not really sure I would want to try this inside my vehicle without the pail though...

Who regularly drives around with a toilet pail in the car?

The bags can be folded up in the glove box....

Actually I do! I have two in my truck... one has tow chain in it, and the other carries a chainfall.

and yes, there are always 'trash' bags in the glove box

Not really sure I'd want to try this in the car at all.

Not sure I'd survive!!

If you want your a$$ hanging out in public...then I guess so....

I'm thinking about something that could be used in the vehicle in broad day light or pouring down rain.....wife or kids or me...just pull over and strap it on...LOL
