I’ve been buying up several at a time...cheap outdoor solar yard lights. You would be surprised by how much light they put out in a pitch black house. The “stake part” comes right off so they can be set on a table, sink, cabinet,stairs, etc. And if you want to make them better, replace the rechargeable AA battery that comes in them with a more reputable makers rechargeable battery. Just set them in a window seal to recharge, or set them outside.
