AK, I got a feeling hes gonna do what hes gonna do, with or without your support. Either academy he attends, he needs your support and Im sure you going to be there but yeah, I get the concern. LEO is a pretty shitty line of work now days.. always has been but I honestly think its gotten a lot harder over the years.

*Funny story, so I get a phone call from an old "fun-times friend" (female type) and apparently birth control back in 1999 is only 98.7% effective. So yea... Guess who just found out he has a 16 year old daughter.
Good for you - congrats.
upgraded one of my 10/22's to a SS 16" 1:9 barrel for subsonic loads, and switched the trigger group out for a 3# volquartsen group. My 458 SOCOM Beast upper should be here next week:p. Started assembly on a AR15/22 lower. I already have a CMMG upper set aside for it.
It's finally started drying up a little around here. Worked up the garden tonight and laid off two raised beds loaded with compost for my onions. Taking tomorrow off work and gonna do another couple rows for the rest of the onions and leeks. Also gonna plant potatos, cabbage, spinach, carrots, & beets.
Had a couple of trees fall down today in the windstorm, so looks like the next few days are going to be woodcutting days.
Planted lots more strawberries, like a LOT more. Didn't do well last year in a specifically built bed, so I'm gonna do herbs in that one, and I've got 3 whiskey barrels of strawberries. Some are transplants, some new. All doing well in the new location with better shade part of the day.
