    Feed store.

I stuck this here since its food of a sort. I got a call from my co-op buddy at the area feed store today. The end of February they are closing the mill. I'm not sure how much farmers were using but I used @1000 pounds a year. You can still buy pre-bagged feed but to me that's just one more little eye opener.

Terrible news. Co-op's used to be the center of the farming community. What's the next closet feed supply? Would it be any better for you to trailer in a load or two from another co-op or some other feed store, maybe further away?

We can still get feed from other stores (a couple pre-bag stores and Tractor Supply) Getting the feed isn't the big issue, it was him thinking the predicted pricing and overhead was why they were stopping mill operation.
