I bought the wife a cast iron one off Ebay. It was not very expensive. It is hand crank and works well. She has used it numerous times and I've ate the bread to test it out.

I'm at work and can't remember the brand, not a big name one.

Same here, got it off of fleabay, works good, cast iron, $35.00, sure, would have liked to have gone with one of those high end ones, but saving money where I can.

I've got a Back-to-Basics grain mill. About $70 IIRC. It's OK for one person, but to get a fine enough grind for baking it requires two passes on wheat. As I am not a big bread eater that is OK for me. But, hand milling is a chore. Being basically lazy at this stage of my life, I only do it when I have run out of flour. I have considered getting a Wonder Mill Jr, but the Country Living and Diamonte are way too pricey to consider. Links below.

we have the country Living grain mill. Still in the box for future use. Not set up enough yet to need it. But now you made methink about it, might try it out just to see.

I think ours is a Country Living too. Been put up for future use but we've been talking that it's time to pull out and try just to see if I can actually do it but it got great reviews from the prepping comminity.

I'm jealous Taz and lady! My sister has the country living and loves it, I did a test run with it and they are nice. We have the Family Grain Mill and for the price I would recomend it but if you have the money to buy a Country Living do it. Family grain mill does makes good baking flour on a single pass and also you can get a kitchen-Aid adapter for it to make it powered.
