    Well, being a woodworker for quite a few years, I found some of his info somewhat "lack of facts" as far as wood goes. I think I will try that Redwood bow.

    If it works out for me to start it, I'll post progress. I may use hickory and/or persimmion also.

    i seen on youtube video a guy built on outta pvc? i've been looking at recurve bows on craigslist, here in indiana they opened deer hunting to crossbows, the compounds and the recurve got alot cheaper.

    Both are great sites.. Still need to make a decent bow mind... Had loads of rubbish one's... Lol.. Although my best is also the smallest made out of bamboo scures.. Lol..

    thats great!!! i have got a compound bow and one of the most important thing is making your own weapon when you are in the nature.
