depending on the price, you may wanna rethink, there is an outfit here in FL, but its pricey....and unless you do something cool like atac or carbon fiber don't expect to find a buyer at resale time that has the same taste as you

now on the other hand if you have an old shotty that the finish is completely gone, you could have it done as a hunting shotgun in camo for about $ 250 range, still too expensive, but if applied correctly the finish lasts

you're right Rent, it isn't cheap. here's his pricelist for basics to get started:

A standard rifle stock is 150
A complete rifle, (Stock, barrel and action) is 250
Complete Shotguns 250 and up
Pistol grips 50
Full pistol 165

I don't imagine it is difficult to do, but probably difficult to do well.

I have a glock that I don't really like very much, but I think if I did it so it looked like it was a carved wooden gun would make me take it out to the range more often.

I have an even stronger dislike to selling guns, so...
