    minnow/crawfish traps

These have got to be one of the greatest things ever made. I had a few when I was a kid, and they kept me occupied for hours every day. conversely, the less I played with them, the more productive they were. Some of the things I've caught are minnow, crayfish, frogs, leeches, turtles, grasshoppers, snakes, butterflies...

most of which could be eaten as food, or used as bait to catch more food. I was just reminiscing about these things with a buddy, and realized that I REALLY need to add a couple of these to my preps, and to my general use pile too for camping/fishing.

I had metal ones like this:

Cabela's: Frabill Vinyl-Coated Round Minnow Trap

But I think I'm going to try a couple like this (I like how it can be folded up for transportation):

    Cabela's: Promar Collapsible Minnow Traps

Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

    Cat's are food... not friends!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.
