    Here is an example of a few I made for catching crayfish and crab. It won't catch minnows though. Tie your rotten chicken parts or what ever you got in the center as a bait... let set for 15 min to 1/2 and haul in before your bait gets devoured.

    We set up at night at the end of a boat dock with the ol' Coleman cranked up with a big ol' pot of seasoned water a boiling and a big ol' cooler of ice to pack the bounty into after they have been processed and put into gallon ziplock bags.

    It also works well to haul larger caught fish by fishing pole up when your fishing from piers or bridges.

    I just saw Gander Mountain has some rectangular traps in stock, and read this thread soon after, it sounded like a lot of fun, but I wasn't sure where I could put one.

    I've since found two places. I'll let you know how they do in a few weeks

    that is awesome only 11 bucks too im getting one this summer for when i take the boat out on the river
