Thanks guys I've been doing some research and am thinking of a 10-20 gallon tank with a remote mount 12v pump possibly in the cab, the tank will proly be on the passenger side under the bed. Hoses will run to the cab, I have a small drill pump that can be a backup.

I stripped the truck down. Then I started sanding the rust. Hopefully the bondo will be done in a few days, and I'll be laying primer down. It'll be my first experience painting so well see .

Nice project truck! I like the ideas you have on what to do with it. Lots of possibilities.

You may be able to find a rear bumper water tank for your truck in the aftermarket suppliers. Years ago a friend of mine had a rear bumper water tank on his Jeep similar to this.

that looks cool, but That seems awfully expensive for 2.3 liters of water. I think I'd just build an onboard box in the back, and line it with Jerrycans. do the whole thing for less than $100 and have 25-30 gallons, centered weight wise right in the middle of the truck, and possibly put a spare fuel tank underneath, or even a storage compartment.

Or you could take a 6" section of steel pipe, weld brackets on it for the mounts and use threaded end caps to make your reservoir. Now that I've given you the idea Sniper, I expect to see some plans and a prototype. I'll give you a nice fat kitty when you've completed the assignment.
