    Rain Barrel for my garden

I was cleaning out some old photos on my PBucket account and came across this photo of the rain barrel that feeds my garden. It's nothing special, but I thought I'd share anyway.
This old pickle Barrel sits under my deck and is fed by a gutter that services a large portion of my Cape Cod style house. I put some poultry screen across the top to filter any large debris and to protect the finer screen that is attached to the lid. I set it on cinder blocks to get a little more gravity pressure to run to the garden that sits just slightly down hill about 20' away.
It may pull double duty as a potable water supply in a post event environment as well.
Again it's nothing special, but just in case anyone can learn anything from it... here it is.

As always questions, suggestions and comments are always welcome.

Looks good. What size barrel is it. It looks larger than a typical 55 gallon. Using the blocks or whatever will help get more pressure.

Cheapest I've found around here are $8 for the 55 gallon one. I'm looking for some 300-330 gallon ones and they are running $75-100.

I found those on Craigslist from a guy in Jacksboro. He did run the 300 gallon ones last year but not seeing them now. The 55s are blue with a small and large bung.
