You've got a good idea there. It's amazing what all you can do with what some folks would consider scrap wood. You did find a good deal for a bundle.
I'm actually lookin for a Wood Miser Portable Band Mill. I knew a guy that had one, actually had him cut some trees up for me. Those things will make a tree go a long ways. The blade is very thin, compared to a circular mill. I would think there would be decent money in doing custom sawing for folks.
Having a sawmill near would be nice no matter what.
