    Writing Spider

In keeping with the "Spider" theme that has been trending.... Allow me to present Zelda.
Zelda is a common Garden Spider, sometimes known as a Corn Spider, or for the "Charlottes Web" fans a Writing Spider.
She has webbed in front of my house between some small shrubs and some Ivy. She's about 4" long in these pics fom tip to tip. Though pretty scary looking, she's totally harmless.

This pic was taken a few weeks ago. Notice the zigzag web that I guess inspired the writing spider moniker

Thought she was too pretty not to share.
The 12 Gauge... It's not just for rabbits anymore.

Down here, we call them banana spiders. Don't know why.
Just because we are peaceful does not mean we have forgotten how to be violent.
