    Great score on the silver!

Been doing some work for my favorite customers....in town once a year.....I dedicate the entire month of July to these folks.

Work like mad for 25 to 30 days....but they always pay as we work or at the latest... before they leave. (one of them I worked for I missed before he left town....he drove back up from Fla. on his own nickle and paid in cash....with a $500 bonus for the wait....it hadn't been 7 days yet)

Not really a prepping thing, but kind of is... the DW went and cleaned up our mud room that has been a packing disaster for the last two years. Now all of the extra water bottles and boxes are unpacked, filled, and stored! Was a extremely pleasant surprise to come home to!

Only problem I forsee is that I can't keep several of these drop leg panels each with different types of loads, too expensive compared to regular drop legs.

Not really prepping in a way, but the thread about what games you play got me thinking. I went out and bought a chess set, checkers, and a few dolls for my daughter in case the power goes out. Also searched through the house and finally found the decks of cards I had put away. Now that the exchange student is gone, I can start buying food in quantity again.

I try to keep it low key while I host students, but this one and another French student figured it out on their own. I still can't figure out how, but I think they are preppers, too. I walked from room to room, top to bottom, and the only things I could spot were the extra water in the basement (about 10 cases and some containers), and the canned goods. The LTS foods are out of sight and sealed. The books are in boxes in the basement. The canned goods are more than a normal family would consume, but not an outrageous amount. The only real slip up was when an Emergency Essentials catalog came in the mail when my sister was here, and she started shooting her mouth off about how I am preparing for the Mayan apocalypse (which I actually don't believe), and the girl said, "Yes, I have noticed that.". I should have asked her how she noticed instead of silently freaking out and backtracking.

I finished my AK47 gear setup. Need more pistol pouches, and to stock the BoB and my buttpack, but otherwize done.

My unborn girl has major health problems, so spending anything right now is a no-no.
