I ordered 1/2 a cow. Actually, my husband ordered it, which is saying something. His eyes are finally opening but he still doesn't want "junk" like extra gas and guns around the house. He is starting to see the price increases on everything. Also bought another cherry tree to replace the one ruined by ants and Japanese beetles.

^ Interesting! Got some details on that Stormy?

Might have to try that in a couple weeks when I see you (hint hint). That could be something well worth adding to my pantry

I picked up a couple cases of this cheese through internetgrocer.com and was very pleased with the product. Very good cheddar and 5 year shelf life.

For those that dont know. . .

Bega and Red Feather Canned Cheese

The great people at Bega have been making cheese since 1899 and have found a way to put great tasting cheddar cheese in a can. This product has a natural cream color with medium cheddar flavor and a pleasing texture. The cheese is easy to cut, grate or slice. It’s great melted on a burger, on hash browns, or just straight out of the can. There is no expiration date on these cans, only the date of production. These cans are guaranteed for 730 days, but if stored properly, will last much longer. This cheese is also hormone free and Halal certified. There are no artificial colors or flavors. Both brands of cheese are made at the Bega plant in Bega, Australia.
I have personally eaten a can of BEGA cheese that was over 45 years old, and tasted it against a new production can, and there was no difference between the two.

A case of Bega canned cheese 36/200 g cans is $85 + shipping and the Yoders canned bacon 12/9oz case is $127 + shipping. Now, They also running a special on Bega canned cheese 56g cans - 72 cans for $48 plus shipping. If interested, let me know, and You can just pick it up when you stop by and save yourself on shipping~
