Some problems are better off if you dont over-analyze them

I intend on being the last person alive still stomping cockroaches.

Vacuum sealed and froze 5 yellowtails for the grill.

What have you done to prep this week?

I got more active again in the past week with "functional fitness", you might say...

Stacking 4 cords of ash (weighs between 2,600 and 3,200 pounds a cord) will do that for ya.

We'll have that doubled (dad splits, I stack) by the end of next week, and that's before I factor in the 6 ash trees we've yet to drop... Or the two at the neighbors... And the 4 down the road... Or the several poplar trees across the street...

Its a lot of work, but I'll be happy with the supply we have on hand, so I'm not complaining.

I picked 46 watermelons yesterday. Still got about 10 or so to go. Also got about 10 butternut, 3 acorn, and 1 spaghetti squash. Damn bugs and dry weather when they were making took a toll on the squash.

You don't need to be the strongest
or the most intelligent to survive
but by having the right tools and
    the adaptability of change
    is where you will prevail.

I've been pleased with the melons and cantaloupe this year. They did much better than anything but the wheat. And damn they taste good.

Bulk packs of .22 golden bullets 550 packs, and some 124gr fmj 9mm. Finished bucketing up my vac sealed food that was previously in tubs. More canned goods.
Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.
