Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

    Cat's are food... not friends!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.

Have done some major clean up around the place this week. Have hauled off five truck loads of cut down weeds and brush as well as serviced a variety of existing equipment. The place looks much better, removal of the weeds and brush has increased security both humans and animals, lowered the fire danger due to much less fuel and opened up additional usable space. Been a busy week so far and I'm feeling it big time but tangible progress really makes it easier to handle.

Picked up a Katadyn Vario water filter new for $45. 530 gallons off of one filter makes me sleep a little better at night. Now to stockpile filters.....the madness, it never ends!

They say that the cockroaches will be the last creature alive on this earth.
I intend on being the last person alive still stomping cockroaches.

I've already mention I learned a bit about trapping this week and have my first foothold out, and this week is also the start of my first season hunting with a muzzle loader, so this is a week of building skills and increasing my knowledge.

i've been since last week been working on range cards. am using dry erase boards till i get them finished and plan to transfer it to paper with water protection etc... it's taking a while, i do not have a laser range finder, it's the old fashion way, i still remember my pace count. the dead space i have designated "zombie space"...
