We are getting black berries, and straw berries already. Peaches and blueberrys are almost ready. Grapes are getting big, but his is our first year for those, so not sure when they will be ready. Tomatoes, celery, and all that is still doing great.

Makes me jealous too Stormy. I still have some snow kicking around, and if one word could describe my place right now, it would be "soggy"!

I did however just buy 5 six foot trees to plant. 3 sour cherries, and 2 apples. All northern tolerant. I wouldn't expect fruit this year, but may be blessed with a couple things, but by next year... I have my fingers crossed.

I may go back tomorrow and pick up a couple more apples, and maybe a couple pears.

    (Great deal at Costco-btw)

Went thru everything tonight. I have concord grapes on, muscidines blooming, mulberries on, 2 different pears, peaches, Pawpaws, and every blueberry is loaded this year, with more blooms on. If the weather holds out, we should get a fair amount of fruit later this year. Some within a month or so.

I can't plant until early June. Weather's great, but the current owners of my garden might get mad if I showed up and started digging. Lol

I'm jealous as well. From the sound of things my lawn got mowed just ahead of Stormy's. As for gardening, we're expanding this year, and are just placing boxes now. That's been a lot of work. They're big and heavy. I also just spent way too long laying patio block (my first time doing it) over the past couple days as well. That was for under our work bench. As long as everything goes well we'll have some seeds planted by the 15th.

I'll be glad when the heavy lifting is done. I haven't gotten out fishing, turkey hunting, or morel foraging yet...
