Finished a couple more batches of Jerky

Picked up some 12ga #4 shells. I also found some 150gr 30 cal bullets. first bullets I've found local in quite a while.

Been picking a good handful or two of blueberries every couple days, summer squash is starting to come in. Half my onions are ready to dig, if the rain will ever let up. Same with the garlic.

Within the next week I hope to have a good mess of eggs getting hatched out. This will be my first shot with this, so we will see how the results turn out.

Did you candle the eggs? Are they in a incubator or under a hen? We candle ours every week and throw away any bad ones. A bad egg can explode and it is very disgusting.

Yeah, you don't want one to explode in the incubator. If your eggs are white any flashlight will work, but if your eggs are brown like mine you are going to need a very bright one.

I have brown eggs but my surefire should shine thru. I am just using a broody hen to try and hatch them out. I don't have an incubator.
