planted 3 cherry trees, filled up a few more onion boxes, ready to plant, and looking everywhere futilely for some Sea Buckthorn plants/seeds. Grrrr!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.

AK, another couple storage methods we started using for our onions last year.
    1) dehydrate them in uniform cut up pieces.
    2) cut them up as you would cook with and freeze meal size bags of them. Cooked can't really tell the difference from fresh cooked ones.

A friend does this in his attached garage...
he bought a large high old pos dresser.
    reinforced the bottom.
placed 3 inches of sand in each drawer.
semi embedded all his root veggies into the sand.

He is still eating last years crops!

I wonder what the average daily temp is though, lots of mine rotted in the garage last year.
Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.
