Yup, that's a beach cruiser. Wide tires and very low gearing. Most don't have adjustable gears
In point of fact, what i got were exactly this... two of them.
I aim to remove the handlebars and drive train, and use stop sign support stock to bolt the two together side by side, 40 inches apart, to give me a decent loadbed.
(I'll be keeping the drive trains... when I get where I am going they will be key to a spare power source... pedal driven generator, anyone?)

Without the drivetrains... you gonna push it by hand?
What would happen if you kept one bike intact to pedal, and made 2 foot outriggers on either side for gear? Think man-sized training wheels...
or even just one side?? Think an outrigger on a canoe...

Yes, by hand. I'm not nearly enough of a decent mechanic to do aught else. Already rummaged the variants you mentioned through, and came up dry.

Sniper from a history standpoint a beach cruiser is a bike you can run into a curb while drunk and not damage it. They generally are not pretty and the nice thing is no one would want to been seen on it so they do not get stolen.
On a side note they have a new and improved version which in all seriousness allows you to ride it in sand or snow. These bikes have lard balloon tires. I do not know how well they work but I do know they cost a bunch.
If it is predictable then it is preventable....... Gordon Graham
So if it is predictable and preventable then you better prepare.
My bet with Ballon tires is that they would perform very well.
Just got in from mulching berry plants, cutting back all our tropical plants and mulching. Also just brought in 30lbs of green and almost ripe maters of all types. Gonna have a 32* night tonight. Wish I had 2 more weeks of warm weather, we were doing great on maters.
Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.

Wrap the tomatos in newspaper and keep them boxed Ina dark area. They'll still ripen over time.
