yeah, A1 for vietnam and after.

I recollect that there was a kit available when I was in, way back in the early 80's, for a (telescoping?) monopod to be mounted on the back undercarriage, to avoid 'tip back'.

    $75 is a good score.

Spent today pruning fruit trees and vines, working on my grape arbor (actually made better progress with it than I was expecting to). Also have been working on getting some seed orders together, planning out what will get started under lights, and early planning on the garden.

Turned lots of dirt today in preparation for onions and taters. Turned, pulled some weeds and amended other beds. A customer gave me a bunch of seed tapes that we're gonna plant tomorrow as well. Goal is 100 lbs of onions this year, got about 70 last year.
Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.

Planted 3 kids of onions. Would've been done today, but have a small ant mound I need to take care of before I get them planted.

I got my first batch ever of 223 loaded tonight, pushed out 25 rounds to run over the chrono and check the accuracy.

If the first few are good, Ill burn the rest up whilst doing a snoopy dance.

What powder and load did you use? What grain bullet are in front of your loads? I have yet to reload any .223 but have about 120 rounds of brass, primes and some Varget that a buddy gave me.

This afternoon, I vacuum marinated about 2 lbs of thin sliced beef sirloin in a 50/50 mixture of Dales sauce and Baby Rays BBQ Sauce for about 8 hrs. Then I filled up 4 trays on the dehydrator, and the whole house smells edible. Can't wait to dip into that jerky.

Edit. This was my first time mixing the steak sauce with the BBQ sauce. I should have mixed 25/75 sauce to BBQ as the jerky came out OK, but a bit salty, and lacking any BBQ flavor
