Rainy day schedule so reloading is in. Had a friend come over and I taught him how to reload using a single stage press. It has been a long time since I loaded handgun loads on a single press, usually do it on my progressive, it was slow. We go 300 45 ACP loaded and he went home happy. He has about 2000+ to do and will come back in a few weeks when the progressive is fixed. It was good for him to learn the basics.

My progressive press needs to be repaired so hopefully the part will arrive this week. So yesterday I ended up loading 200 45 Long Colt since my supply on those were low. Started cleaning brass in preparation of the progressive being fixed. I repaired my other tumbler so this will give me two now and allow me to clean 2,400 rounds of pistol brass at a time.

So if it is predictable and preventable then you better prepare.

Flipped my fed tax into a 2004 Chevy Impalla because Mama's Geo Tracker has been broke down for 6 months and I havent had the money to get it fixed, plus is still didnt have AC, it needs tires, etc.. etc..

Listed the Geo on FB and CL, got a guy supposed to come tonight to look at it... I hope to have 5 cash this evening, which will go a long way into reloading supplies and canned goods!

I reworked my GHB Fanny pack I keep in the truck. Amongst all the other things I keep in it, I added 4 tea candles, more band aids, 1 allergy pill, 8 oxycodone pills, 1/2 roll of TP, a small bottle of hand sanitizer, a full sheet of paper w/ pencil, the Readyman survival card, a stainless steel arrowhead, a sealed Vaseline straw w/ 3 cotton pads impregnated with vaseline, 2 MRE main meals I vacuum sealed into one bag, and a package of Romin noodle soup I vacuum sealed, inside a stainless steel cup w/ lid, that I double vacuumed sealed to keep the cup from being damaged.

Ground dried up pretty good this week so I got out and worked up my garden spots. Layed off rows for my taters and started my raised beds to plant my onions slips and leeks in.
I ordered and should receive tomorrow my onion's and leeks from Dixondale onions. I got 7 types of onions and 1 type leeks. Most of the onions are yellow and red and all are suppose to keep for at least 4 months. Some up to a year. One type is basically a Vidiala type.

I put together a GHB for the Jeep...(oh yeah, I also got a Jeep Wrangler 4x4 in case the truck isn't enough) Got the new gf picking out a Glock so we'd have mag comparability. Got some greenhouse plants going...looking forward to spring.
