    Good choices.
    I could recommend a G26 for your GF. Or maybe a G43.
    I have 2 G26, G27, G29sf, G30sf and a G42.
    G26 is my normal EDC.

    Good price on the ammo?
I think the 26 handles great, at least for me. Handles magazines from all the other 9mm as well. I like the option of the smaller frame with 17 rounds.

Back to the dark side... like a washing machine, back and forth.. I used the car sale funds to put a G17G4 on lay a way.

Ill be able to reload for it cheaper than 40, etc.. etc.. etc.. Im a full size handgun kinda guy, prefer the 17 to the 19, and I *really* like the features of the G4! Enlarged mag release and texture are going to be a DREAM in USPSA!

43 is a nice gun. I've fondled one a few different times.

Love mine, it handles like a bigger gun. I also carry it OWB with a t-shirt and it doesn't print
Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.
