Been teaching a concealed carry class this week to a bunch of correctional people. Great group of people and now we have 9 more people who are trained to carry concealed and who will pass the word it is a good thing.
Met with a friend who is a completion shooter. We are going to start training together. Additionally we will be putting in Apex triggers I all my M&Ps this week.

I've added a few more can goods to the storage.About ready to make my own laundry soap. DaHubs hasn't been able to get into the basement and put the bins away from Christmas. I can't lift them right now. DH had a scope done on the left knee recently, had a bit of trouble with the operation and getting around the house. So climbing stairs are out right now till he's stabler walking. Sucks getting old LOL!!
I am residing in CO. I am trying to create large food growing area in the small area that I have. Just completed building a Grape/Raspberry frame so they grow in height. Did that this weekend, now starting on raised garden bed build x3. Next will be a raft system for my aquaponics. Luckily the weather is rather mild here currently. Just used to posting picks from my hard drive. My facebook is public for a lot of things I post.

Be decisive. Right or Wrong, make a decision. The road of life is paved with flat squirrels who could not make a decision.
I've been ridiculously busy with work, and the next few days will be busier, but...I guess in a way that's meeeting my long term prepping goals of being debt free so the extra cash is going to help with that. I've got my garden spot ready to plant and will be getting squash, peppers, okra and tomatoes in before long. I have 6 or 8 rabbits to butcher, and about to add a few more hens to my chicken house.
What kind of chickens did you get? I got some black austrolorps you can have if you want.

I got a few Buff Orpingtons. I have a couple that have pretty much quit laying, they are a few years old so I don't know if it's just age or what.
I still have a couple original ones and they are still laying I think.

I had Buff for a few years and by three they slowed down laying a lot.
Spent yesterday doing some more to my grape arbor. Got one row finished and about 1/3 of the 2nd one. Planted some rooting of grapes and some blackberries. Was hoping to get my onion slips planted, but way to muddy for that.
