Oh, the DAK is double action only. Mine is SA/DA

Finished adding four yards of material to the garden. Planted four apple and two almond trees. Redoing a bunch of my storage in the shed. Brought in four yards of gravel to put down on the walkways of the garden to have it year round. Made a dump run to get rid of a bunch of stuff. Started a bunch of seeds for the garden.

My son came up to visit this weeks and it was great. We went to Yosemite, should have brought the bikes. Went up shooting and set up a course using steel and paper targets. You know steel can be brutally honest.

Yesterday we branded, castrated, vaccinated and marked 40 head of cattle at a friends ranch. The feed is really high with the recent rains so the calves were huge and beat us up pretty good.

Prepwise, other than the garden, not much lately. Wife has had some health issues since December and is just now starting to get straightened up. Still looking at shoulder replacement at some point after a failed rotator cuff surgery. Just gotta figure out timing for that.

For some fun yesterday, we went to an air show at the local airport. Saw some nice static displays, several very cool flying demonstrations. And topped off by the Blue Angels. IT WAS AWESOME! Other than the crowd we had a great time.

Range time with Glock 19 and bought water filter for the SUV kit, AAA/AA batteries, duct tape, paracord, and canned some elk meat. Bought paper maps for for our area too.

Made 20 global buckets today and planted them with tomatoes. That's 44 mater plants this week. I'm running out of space. Found several more blackberries sprouting away from the big bush, so I dug them up to root in pots. The one I did 2 weeks ago is growing like crazy in a pot, so as soon as it dries out, I'll be finding it a new home too. Thinned out and gave away 9 Russian tarragon plants yesterday to some neighbors. This thing wants to take over the world, so I have to thin it out every spring.

Used the snow blower on 20" of snow for 3 neighbors and my self. (Setting up prepping relations and need to be a nice guy to start) 2 days before I seeded the cold crop plants in the recently constructed cinder block raised bed I built. The day before the snow dump I covered the bed with 5 gallon buckets and a 55gallon barrel cut in half.

I bought a Ruger American Rimfire Bolt Action 22lr and a nice Bushnell 3-9X40 scope.
Its my first bolt gun, believe it or not.
I have plenty of 22lr but still buy when I find it <$0.08/rd
Also started buying Arachnigrips for my pistols with slide serrations. I bought one on a whim at a gunshow and wow what a difference it makes in racking the slide!
