Hey ANT, so did you shoot the propane bottle and puree the tomatoes? I'm laughin right now, hey WELCOME ABOARD!
Couldn't resist the comment, the wife said you should've heated the tomatoes first (I stand corrected, first roasted and then pureed) with the propane. Enjoy yourself here there is lots to review with past posts.

Yesterday LadyHK and I were invited to an annual cookout in the new "neighborhood" and met pretty much all the "Tribal Elders" in the county. Moore county is pretty small, I'd guesstimate about 60+ people showed up. Made many new contacts and got the pulse of the people. Many shooters and preppers. Good time and great food, all cooked over a nice big fire. You should have seen the cast iron caldron full of stew! Yummy! I had four bowls............
Very informative, who does what, where and why. I think we're gonna like it there.
Sorry you weren't invited DG, I'll have to change that for next year. I wasn't going to be rude and invite other people to come with us not knowing what we're getting into. I'm sure they were sizing us up as well.

I’m sure it was just “lost” in the mail.
"Teach the children quietly

Will rise up and fight while we stood still"
I stayed up all night to see where the sun went. Then it dawned on me.
Had DG over to asses the solar panel so I can make a parts list and get the thing wired up and ready to go. Also tried out DG's hooch, all three actually. EXCELLENT!

Drying basil in the dehydrator this weekend. On my 3rd batch now. Probably gonna make a pint jar at best, but that will last us quite a while. I don't have a spot for plants to winter inside, so I just cut them down and bagged them up at first freeze. Harvesting Pequin peppers today as well.
Common sense is so rare these days, it should be re-classified as a super power.
Sounds like a nice harvest AK. Couple questions for you. What are the Pequin peppers? Are the hot or mild, bell or banana type? Are they heirlooms or hybrid? If heirloom, would you be interested in swapping some seed for something I have? I'm always looking for some new heirloom peppers to try out. Never heard of those before.
