Words can't describe how jealous I am! One acre lots in my town can cost anywhere from $300,000 to $1,000,000, and that might not include a house on the property! We can only get that kind of open space in a forest preserve here. It is a beautiful piece of paradise you have there!
Sniper T you're the man. Now I have to dry my eyes from crying because of pure envy.
Sniper-T saves the day! Gld2 C 1 of us iz internet L337 enuf 2 dewit! LOL! (this is because I would have probably talked trash, tried to do it, then failed, and looked like a complete fool!)
Wow that is one AWESOME place you have there. I know you all can't wait to get out there and get started.
You guys rock!!! Thank you Sniper-T for going through all that trouble to fix my pics...I am such a computer dummy. I still have to pinch myself to comprehend that we are actually going to close on over 240 acres on Dec. 30th!!!! We were told neighboring landowners and hunt leaseowners wanted it and were blessed that our offer came in first and was accepted before we ended up in a bidding war. Land is getting so expensive no especially if there is good water and has privacy and can have good pasture areas. I can say in fact that we will close with built in equity...yahoooo!
When we start demolition I'll post pics (might need your help Sniper!) so you can see progress, however slow. DH says we need to buy a bulldozer now. AND an old 4WD truck....guess I say bye bye to my Volvo
You will like driving the dozer better than the volvo for sure. Just think of all the neat things you can do with it.
I'm glad you finally found your perfect place Ladyhk13!
