A friend of mine works at a local ègg`-warehouse` it is where all the big producers send their eggs for packaging for the major super stores.according to him, it is not uncommon for the eggs to sit in the warehouse for 3 months or more, before they are rotated through to packaging!!

It really made me think twice about buying store bought eggs!

Well Sniper then I guess my eggs should be okay for a pretty long time, huh? I'm not refrigerating them at all since it's to see how long they will last if shtf.

I get my eggs from one of my mechanics. I know they are fresh and they are really rich. I'm going shooting this weekend and experimenting with a new LP stove oven combo from Harbor Freight.

A raw eggs last longer than boiled one's. When you boil eggs it takes away the protective layer that helps "keep" the egg. Sry I don't have any statistic but thats just what Ive been taught.

Plowed all the rye grass under in the rest of the garden. It was almost knee high and turned well. The ground should be ready to plant by the time to plant the bulk of the garden rolls around.
