Basically this: Keep flies away from the waste. Keep the waste covered. Wash your hands. Do not let waste get near your water source. Move locations frequently. There were MANY other ideas for latrines, urinals, etc that were all very primitive and that could be useful post-SHTF. Anyone: Shoot me an email if you want me to email you the manual in an attachment.

Spent $71 on getting started buying "extra" canned goods and got a fair amount of canned veggies, fruits and beans. Also rotated the stored water and looking into getting some non-hybrid seeds to start gardening with.
2 new waterproof cell phone boxes. Gonna get used this weekend for the lake, but going into the gear rotation for a battery box after that.

Found a new local store that sells bulk! It is out in the middle of nowhere in a industrial/commercial complex! Had a heyday buying tons of #10 cans of sausage gravy, pudding, veggies, and assorted can goods all cheap as hell!

I bought good hiking boots, 6 months of dog food, a book about making soap, got a late start on my garden, and got a bunch of stuff cleared out of the basement. It is still a wreck, though. My husband is finally getting our mountain bikes in working order today. Tomorrow will be the first time I have ridden a bike in almost 15 years, so wish me luck!

Welp my wife and I got together and canned Pickled Watermelon Peel. She has done it once b4 and she said it was an awesome treat to munch on. We will open a can around Christmas and let ya know.
