    Yeah, nothin ever comes easy, but you are a viable asset. Cross training is essential to the crew/team's survival. Someone can go down at any time for any reason. I'm a firm believer in "Everyone should try to know everyone's job" as much as possible, cross train!
    So, former deck seaman eh? Then you know bridge "etiquette"? We learned that from the English ya know? Way too much micro management. (KISS) nuff said.

    Not going to be here long. Just letting you know we are still alive. Just been real busy with all the building going on here. Other than that everything is going good.

    went to Cherokee nc, maggie valley nc, franklin nc for my birthday weekend. Saw all the waterfalls, got my artifacts and rocks checked out. Really did find some good stuff. Maybe enogh to retirer on,

    Not much just that the knife is a very large Indian spearhead, the small rock is agate ( a very nice size), The rock that I think looks like a bull is something that was used to maybe crush herbs. But they are not just rocks like some might have thought.

    Planning a camping trip in that area July 4th weekend. Can't wait to get away for a few days.

    mowed the back forty with a brush cutter I call Tazanator, DH made troughs to put corn in for the deer, moved some boulders with backhoe, now going to wash up under the waterfall
