    2) Showing a guy my AK Thr, he might buy so I can invest in an AR (I know, I know... not that shit again, yeah I think Im ready to go back to the AR, a little burnt out on the AK)
    3) Working to pay my brass man off (you know who you are, Im waaaay past due on my bill)

He is in Toronto. 5 months of winter... but inside temps of between 10-15C in his garage

I have been prepping 308 brass in the mornings this week. I hope to have it all done by this weekend. This will give me about 900 rounds for shooting distance. So it has been cleaned, lubed, sized, neck turned, primer pocket reamed and the case trimmed. I am waiting on a ultrasonic cleaner I ordered, then I will clean it again, this will be better then the new stuff you buy.

I have been working almost full time getting my garden built. I hope to be finishing up on the majority of my raised beds. This will give me seven 6-foot by 12-foot beds in the upper garden and four 4-foot by 8-foot boxes down below. Each box has been lined with aviary wire to block the gophers. I will have a larger area about 24 by 30 to grow corn. Somewhere I will be putting in an herb garden to complement everything. I know it is going overboard but I hate gophers. So I will be using pavers in between the boxes so the little bastards don't have anywhere to go. I just got some awesome traps and I will start killing the little buggers tomorrow morning. The bad thing is the wood has cost me a fortune but it will not have to be replaced by me ever again, that will be up to the kids.

So if it is predictable and preventable then you better prepare.

Got my straw down around tomatos and peppers for mulch. And right after I finished it came a nice 1/2" rain to settle it out and soak it. Also got all the cages on my maters. At least till I ran out. Now I just gotta buy another dozen cages and straw in the thin spots.

Real, IMHO... SKIP THE ULTRASONIC! They are a waste of money, ask me how I know!

The bestest case cleaner in the world is a wet tumbler with SSTL rods, a dash of Dawn and Lemishine. Saving the dimes for a tumber, Ive got a 5lb bucket half full of range brass I want to process.

You can skip the Lemishine if you want, it just gives the brass a bright gleen.

Compare dry vibe and wet SSTL tumble:

Traded my AK, 10 mags and a spam can for an Anderson AR, mid length with adjustable stock, fixed front sight gas block, flat top upper with A2 carry hand sight, sling adapter, 1 C Products magazine and a bottle of Slip2000.

I think I did pretty good... Thinking Lil'Bravo might want one after she gets to shoot it, might have to trade hers in too (likely with cash to boot).

Ive come full circle, back to the AR.

Ive already got 14 MilSpec aluminum mags and my Blackhawk chest carrier so all I "really need" is ammo. Hope to range it this weekend.. betting ready to drop my laser in the chamber and do a rough zero on the open sights. Optics might, or might not come later, not decided but its a flat top so that option is there for the future. Thinking: Primary Arms, decent but inexpensive route...
