The storms in 2005 & 2006 just wore us out!! So, we now have a new tradition...it's called "hurricane vacation". We just pack a few essentials and go somewhere where the hurricane doesn't go...and that's where we party. It's called "getting older and wiser".![]()
These sites are mstly what I tend to watch.

I use Wunderground as my main Wx tracker. I really like the wundermap for the radar.

And here is one I just found. It looks worth checking out, but who knows.

Check them out and see what works best for you. I've been thru many Wx sites over the years looking for good, near real time radars and finally hit on Wunderground. But it seems most all of them have a decent feature or two.
BP, all you mentioned are good ones and as accurate as any. And I agree, Weatherunderground is the best free one. I use Stormpulse, but it is expensive if you have to buy it.
Willie, I am crashing for tonight. 4:30 is gonna come early. But we gotta talk sometime. I am interested in this Stormpulse your talking about.
Later
Twitchy, they think that it will come to you rather than us right coasters. Let me know if you need to run, come this way. Cat 1 won't be a big deal, but neither was Andrew until he got just offshore of Miami. Stay alert, but play it cool.
Just because we are peaceful does not mean we have forgotten how to be violent.
Twitchy & BP,
Check out this site. BP, since you're a ham, you may already be there. http://www.hwn.org/
You can also use Stormpulse here, but not the full pay version.
