And last night, I went out the back door for a smoke, and had 8 ruffies sitting right beside my deck. They took off before I could grab the gun, but tonight I will peek out the window before I open the door

Opening weekend for archery down here. Nothing Saturday morning/mid-day but had this spike visit Sunday evening.
Didn't have a perfect shot so he got a pass. Picture taken with flip phone so it's not real good. He was at 20 yards.
Is it just me, or does your tree stand sem awfully high?

It appears that way from this picture. I'm about 16' up a tree that is on top of a little ridge so I'm probably closer to 18-19' up. Not the best phone either.
