    Diesel fuel?

Read somewhere that if you mix 85% used motor oil with 15% gas you get a form of diesel fuel that can run most diesel vehicles? ANyone have info on this?

    I am me,
    I am free,
    You can not change me.

If you try, you will see,
    That I am unchangeable,
    Because I am me.

Let him know if you need 550 cord, a hank of generic rope, and some duct tape

A diesel engine will run on just about anything combustible that can be injected into the combustion chamber.

    So yes, it is doable.

Older mechanical diesels (4BT/6BT, 6.2 Detroit, etc) will be more reliable with mixed fuels due to simplicity.

Gasoline is a solvent, and will eat away at the pumps and seals in a diesel fuel system, so don't plan on extended longevity when using a 15% mixture.

Make sure you filter the crap out of it before dumping it in the tank.
