How Long Will Stored Flour Last?

I know wheat is the best choice, but how long will plain white flour stored in mylar bags with oxygen absorbers inside plastic buckets last before turning bad? It will be stored at temperatures not exceeding 75 degrees. Thanks in advance!

I opened a package the other day... a ziplock bag, with 3 other ziplock bags inside of a ziplock bag (4 medium packages inside a large), stored in a sealed steel drum. 4 years old, and it was as fresh as the day I put it away. still powdery, no bugs, no rancidity, just fluffy white flour

LDS Cannery says 10 year shelf life for flour stored in #10 cans with 02 absorbers, stored in -75 degree environment.
I would imagine it would be the same in mylar

Bugs are just a more efficient way for you to ingest flour.....and get a little extra protein to boot!

And no... I have never frozen it first. The first I heard that mentioned was on here last year, and I've been putting things up for a 'little' longer than that.

whatever my container is, I fill it, and tap it, to settle the contents, fill/tap/fill/tap, etc until I cannot get anything more in and still close it
